Following our maternity shoot two months before, I was delighted when Christine and Emmanuel invited me to photograph their baby girl.

I met Saffron when she was 10 days old at her new home. We worked in a small space and therefore, I kept the photographs tightly cropped. The large window gave us plenty of natural light, so I did not need to rely heavily on the flash.

Saffron was a very peaceful baby to work with. In fact, she slept through most of our session; only waking briefly to check out the mysterious photographer.
